Video shows police shooting unarmed Terrence Crutcher after he walked to his vehicle with his hands up, then attempted to reach slowly into the stationary SUV. There were no weapons in the vehicle.
Terrence was 40 years old.

7/18/16: Jerry Brimer
Police said Jerry Brimer's wife called 911 to report that her husband was threatening her with a weapon. Police claim Brimer approached them with an ax before they shot him.
Jerry was 56 years old.
7/7/16: Michael Ramsey Jr.
An officer shot and killed Ramsey after he allegedly threw a screwdriver at police. Ramsey, who was armed with a knife, had been causing a disturbance outside a home and ignored police commands to drop the weapon, authorities said. Officers said they tried to subdue him with a Taser before shooting him.
Michael was 43 years old.
6/15/16: Russell Rosser
Rosser hit a police car and fled. As an officer attempted to put down stop sticks, Rosser allegedly swerved toward him, and Rosser was shot and killed.
Russell was 43 years old.
5/28/16: Ollie Lee Brooks
Officers went to the motel to search the register for guests with outstanding warrants, police said. They found that Brooks — who was wanted in Okmulgee County — was staying there. Two officers went to his room, knocked on the door and, when Brooks answered, reportedly saw drug paraphernalia. Police entered the room to arrest Brooks. Police claim he resisted them as they pepper-sprayed, tasered and killed him.
Ollie was 64 years old.
3/22/15: James Moore
Officers were driving down highway and a man in dark clothing walked into their path and was killed.
James was 43 years old.
10/8/14: Jason Rogers
Police planned to arrest Rogers for domestic violence. Police said the disturbance occurred a few nights before. Police say Rogers was in the back yard mowing when they approached him and identified themselves. They said he drew a gun from his waistband and officers fired shots in response.
Jason was 35 years old.
9/2/14: Mark Kelley
Officers were responding to a report of a man with a self-inflicted stab wound in a home. As they arrived, Kelley was standing in the driveway holding the knife. Police said he refused repeated commands to drop the knife and then approached the officers. Three of them opened fire, striking Kelley several times.
Mark was 45 years old.
8/5/14: Jeremy Lake
Shannon Kepler, a 24-year veteran of the Tulsa Police Department, shot and killed Lake, his daughter's new boyfriend, in an unprovoked attack at their first meeting. Kepler had recently kicked his 14-year-old daughter out of the house; she had met Lake at a shelter. Kepler was charged with first-degree murder. His wife Gina, also a TPD officer, was charged with accessory after the fact.
Jeremy was 19 years old.
3/25/14: DeAndre Lloyd Starks
Police served a search warrant for drugs at a house where Starks and several other people were present. Starks was wearing loose clothing and concealing his hands and repeatedly refused police orders to display his hands. Fearing Starks was armed, one officer shot and killed Starks. Starks was unarmed. The officer who shot Starks had been involved in a previous killing.
DeAndre was 27 years old.
2/16/13: Juan Gonzalez
Officers responded to Juan Gonzalez's home after a call from his roommate, saying that Gonzalez was suicidal and had chased him out of the apartment. Officer Daniel Madewell, claiming to fear for his life, shot and killed the suspect after he appeared on his balcony and pointed a BB gun at the officers. Gonzalez's roommate said he struggled with mental health issues most of his life and seemed to be getting worse. Madewell was cleared and returned to work.
